Unless you are politically feared, you will never be politically respected.
There are two things a legislator can do that grassroots activists and leaders can't...
They can introduce bills and they can make motions.
Without a legislator who is willing to do those two things on your behalf, it is very difficult to stop bad legislation and almost impossible to get good legislation introduced -- much less passed.
If that's where you find yourself, this class is for you.
To win, you need a Champion with backbone who is fiercely committed to your issue, with the courage to force a roll-call vote to get your political enemies on the record, even when the leadership doesn't want it.
This intense three-day school will teach you how to recruit a candidate, analyze the district, raise money and mobilize the RIGHT voters to get your own Champion elected.
And if you've considered running for office yourself, it will teach you how to do it right from the start.
You will learn:
How to Build your Campaign Plan and Budget;
How to Analyze the District;
Advanced Campaign Communications -- including the Leesburg Grid, framing the issues, and targeting your communications to different groups;
Fundraising -- including phone, direct mail, email, online and events;
Polling and Surveys;
Campaign Finance Law, Contribution Limits, Reports, Coordination, Issue Discussion;
Early Voting and Get Out the Vote; and
What Happens if You Win?

All of our instructors have years of experience working on federal, state and local campaigns -- including major presidential campaigns and successful campaigns for U.S. Congress.

Refund Policy
Foundation for Applied Conservative Leadership registration fees are fully refundable provided a refund request is made in writing at least 72 hours prior to the start of the class.
Because venues and caterers require Foundation for Applied Conservative Leadership to guarantee the number attending, three days before a school, no refunds will be given for requests made less than 72 hours before a school.
Refund requests must be emailed to ddh@facltraining.org and must include the registrant's name and the school they are registered to attend.
Refunds will not be issued for no shows, late arrivals, or early departures.
